Well it’s coming up to Halloween and the ghost stories are already surfacing.. and it seems our High School favourites are not immune to a ghostly encounter:
High School Music stunner Ashley Tisdale might not be returning to New Zealand in a hurry. The screen stunner has revealed that during her time in the country earlier this year she was left terrified by a ghostly encounter. The brunette bombshell was shooting the movie They Came From Upstairs in a sprawling mansion in rural Coatesville, just north of Auckland.
But in one of the places she stayed, which included the 22-bedroom restored manor, she claims she had an unwelcome visitor in her room. “I thought my room was haunted,” she said. “Lights would go on and off and I’d hear things being thrown around the room. I could tell something was there.”

Like many of the cast members, Corbin Bleu was sad to say goodbye, but also ready for the new challenges that may lie ahead:
“High School Musical 3″ star Corbin Bleu, who plays basketball hotshot Chad Danforth, is ready to graduate.
The 19-year-old is still in the middle of promoting the final installment of Disney’s mega-franchise — “I’m en route to Rome, then Australia and Japan, but after that, I’m done,” he said — but after that, he’s all about moving on. “Saying goodbye was absolutely bittersweet. Me and those guys, we grew up together,” he said. “But we’re also really excited to do new projects and get into new characters. I’d like, you know, meatier roles.”
It was sad news years ago of the death of TLC star Lisa Lopez, but HSM’s Monique Coleman is said to be keen to take on the role of the singer in the biopic of her life:
HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL star MONIQUE COLEMAN harbours dreams of playing late TLC rapper LISA ‘LEFT EYE’ LOPES in a biopic of the tragic star’s life. The singer/actress, who plays Vanessa Hudgens’ brainy best pal in the teen franchise, is a huge fan of Lopes and hopes to bring her eventful life to the big-screen.
Coleman wants to pay homage to the star - and is adamant she can portray the same raw talent that catapulted Lopes to stardom. She says, “I have aspirations to do the TLC story. I’ve been doing a little research into them and I can see a little Left-Eye in here.”
